NJCC 2012 H.A.Z.A.R.D. HISS TANK Zombie Assault Vehicle

NJCC 2012 H.A.Z.A.R.D. HISS TANK (Hazardous Armament Zombie Assault Research Division) will include a remolded Compond Z Cannon with canister insert to hold the Compond Z cartridge, and Flame Thrower. Also include will be a remolded Armored Canopy and a cool assortment of extra weapons and gear, including a cardboard Dio Background.

The NJCC 2012 H.A.Z.A.R.D. HISS TANK will be given away at random via raffle tickets, and is NOT FOR SALE. Anybody who attends NJCC 2012 at early admission will receive 4 tickets for door prizes, and general admission will receive 1 ticket. One H.A.Z.A.R.D. HISS TANK will be given away per hour.

Here at New Jersey Collectors Con the focus is on Collecting Action Figures! There are many other options for fans to attend shows but we like to think we present a unique event with the best toy dealers on the East Coast. Because our event is focused on the Toy Collector, we wanted to give back to the fans of our show by releasing the door prize schedule and the Mega Door Prize for the May 6th, 2012 NJCC Attack of the Toys!

The Transformers BOTCON Invasion set of Overlord Gigatron, Metalhawk, Heroic Decepticons Soundwave and Treadshot and Evil Autobots Ultra Magnus and Turbo Tracks will be this years NJCC 2012 Attack of the Toys Mega Door Prize. One lucky winner will be walking away with this awesome box-set, but the door prizes don’t stop there.

NJCC 2012 Attack of the Toys Dan Khanna As Guest Artist!

NJCC 2012 adds Dan Khanna as guest Transformers artist. Dan started his Transformers career as a fan artist, creating commissioned drawings of Transformers characters and action scenes. He gained fame in the community, and has since become part of the creative team for the new Fun Publications-run Fan Club and conventions, illustrating and plotting Club & BotCon comics as well as designing heads and character mock-ups for exclusive toys.

New Jersey Collectors Con Announces Mark Bellomo As Guest!

Mark Bellomo will be attending NJCC as a special guest, promoting his new book, “Totally Tubular ’80s Toys”. Filled with super rad toys and bodacious memories, this righteous ride back in time when Madonna ruled and Spinal Tap amplifiers went to 11. You’ll find everything from He-Man to Cabbage Patch Kids, Trivial Pursuit to Rubik’s Cube, Transformers to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, Pac-Man, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong-as well as lots of fun and smiles.

Mark Bellomo has written more than 150 articles for ToyFare, Wizard Magazine, Lee’s Toy Review, Tomart’s Action Figure Digest, and most recently for Toy Shop Magazine, where he served a lengthy tenure as their Action Figure Columnist. He has written a number of composition/rhetoric texts, has published critical literary articles, and has authored a number of bestselling books on action figures and pop culture: Warman’s Action Figures Field Guide, Transformers: Identification & Price Guide, Warman’s Field Guide to Transformers, The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe: 1982-1994 (1st & 2nd editions), and the recently-released Totally Tubular 80’s Toys. Bellomo contributes three chapters each year to Toys & Prices (2007 2011), and has also been featured in The Collectable Spectacle currently posted on YouTube.

Larry Kenney is our guest of honor at the premiere fall collectors event in the Philadelphia area NJCC 2011. Larry Kenney is best known as the voice of Lion-O in the original 80′s ThunderCats series, boasting an impressive 125 episodes. Larry has most recently stepped up to fill the role of Claudus, King of the ThunderCats and Father to Lion-O and Tygra in the new 2011 epic adventures of the ThunderCats on Cartoon Network, which is being well-received by fans.

Larry Kenney will be signing autographs and interacting with fans all afternoon at NJCC 2011; don’t miss your chance to get your Lion-O signed by the man himself!
